In 2004, Chad Headley accepted a position with WECT-TV6 in Wilmington, North Carolina, as a News Photojournalist. 

Eighteen months later, he furthered his career as a 

News Photojournalist by accepting a position with WSBT News 22 in South Bend, Indiana.

Chad Headley's daily-assigned news coverage included breaking news, interviewing law enforcement and public, live truck operation, satellite truck operation, and daily editing,

all under tight deadlines.

Katrina Convoy

 

Chad Headley produced, shot, reported and edited a news documentary series on local Hurricane Katrina

relief efforts aired on WECT-TV6.

 

The five-part series was awarded for Best Series

by the Radio Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas in Spring 2006.

Firefighter Training

 

Chad Headley reported, shot and edited a news photo-essay on firefighter Training in Brunswick County, North Carolina ,which was aired on WECT-TV6.

 

This video also includes raw footage of the live-fire training simulator supplied by Triple C Fire and Rescue Training Services.
